The consultation period for the St Kilda Road and Environs, Melbourne proposed National Heritage Listing closed on Friday 11 August 2017.
Following the recent emergency listing of ‘St Kilda Road and Environs’, the Australian Heritage Council is assessing the place for potential permanent inclusion in the National Heritage List. The National Heritage List recognises places that are of outstanding heritage value to the nation for their historic, Indigenous and/or natural heritage values.
Please note: We warn that these documents may be culturally sensitive, as the assessment highlights that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artefacts, sacred objects and human remains were collected for research and other purposes.
