The Australian Heritage Council is assessing Centennial Park, Sydney, for potential inclusion in the National Heritage List. The National Heritage List recognises places that are of outstanding heritage value to the nation for their natural, Indigenous and/or historic heritage values.

All comments will be taken into account by the Australian Heritage Council in making its assessment. All comments will also be provided to the Australian Government Minister for the Environment and Energy, for consideration when making his decision on whether to include the place on the National Heritage List.
