About the application
The Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment has received an application for a permit to kill, injure, take, trade, keep or move two listed threatened species and one ecological community in a Commonwealth Area under Part 13, section 200 of the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). The application is to clear Natural Temperate Grassland of the South Eastern Highlands (critically endangered), Hoary Sunray (Leucochrysum albicans var. tricolour) (endangered) and Striped Legless Lizard (Delma impar) (vulnerable) for the Snowy 2.0 Polo Flat Segment Factory site in Polo Flat, NSW.

If the application for a permit to conduct the activity is approved the permit will be valid for a period of up to five years.
