Who does this notice affect?
All importers and customs brokers who will be required to lodge imported cargo documentation to the department for biosecurity assessment during this planned outage.
All shipping agents or operators of maritime conveyances who will be required to report pre-arrival information during this planned outage.
Due to scheduled maintenance, the Cargo Online Lodgement System and Maritime Arrivals Reporting System will be unavailable from 23:00 Tuesday 23 October to 00:30 Wednesday 24 October 2018 (AEDT).
For clients reporting maritime conveyances, electronic offline forms are available during this outage, but they do not constitute the approved form. Your reporting obligations are met once your information has been submitted in MARS.
For clients who are required to use COLS to lodge documentation, please await the completion of this maintenance period before attempting to access this service.
