New plant introduction form

If you want to import a species of plant that is not listed in the Biosecurity Import Conditions System (BICON), you will need to complete a New plant introduction form and submit it to the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources.

The information provided in this form will be used by the department to conduct a weed assessment and determine whether new import conditions for that species will be developed.
