Application to register an export establishment

Publication details

Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment

Forms to be completed when registering or varying an establishment registration (including a fishing vessel) where goods prescribed in the Export Control Act 2020 and associated rules are prepared. This includes slaughter, boning, processing, inspecting, chilling, freezing, holding, producing, packing, treating, handling, dismembering, loading or storing.

How to apply

To register your establishment, vary your registration or revoke a registration, download and complete one of the following application forms.

Apply online to register an export establishment or vary your registration

You can now apply to register a new export establishment or vary any part of your establishment's registration with our digital Export Service. This service is a 'beta', which means we're releasing it early for your feedback.

You’ll still need to use the EX26c form if you're applying to:

  • revoke a registration, or
  • revoke an occupier and add a new occupier.

Go to the Export Service

For dairy processing establishments

If you are seeking export registration for a dairy processing establishment, you must contact our export facilitator service (by email at DairyExportSupport@awe.gov.au) before you submit an application form. This service will help you understand the relevant registration requirements and how to prepare for the registration process.
