Public consultation on the latest tranche of proposed changes to agricultural chemical and veterinary medicines (agvet chemicals) regulations has now closed. The consultation period was open between 12 December 2018 and 20 February 2019. Thank you for your contributions.
We are considering the issues raised in submissions. The proposed legislative changes will streamline regulation of agvet chemicals regulated by the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA).
The proposed changes would amend the:
- Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals (Administration) Regulations 1995
- Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code Regulations 1995
- Agricultural and Veterinary Chemical Products (Collection of Levy) Regulations 1995.
