The review of the standards for livestock exported by air is now complete. The Technical Advisory Committee conducted the review in two stages:
- Stage 1 of the review — the committee sought feedback on an issues paper.
- Stage 2 of the review — the committee considered an independent literature review and sought feedback on a draft report.
The committee also prepared a draft of the standard that relates to air transport (Standard 6), incorporating the recommendations from the review.
Final report and departmental response
You can now read the final report, draft Standard 6, and our response to the committee’s recommendations.
