We report on all contracts worth $100,000 or more that we’ve entered into in the last 12 months. We’re required to do this by Senate Order 13—Entity contracts.
Our department was established on 1 February 2020. Before this, we were the:
- Department of Agriculture
- Department of the Environment and Energy (Environment portfolio)
We haven’t yet reported as our new department. You can still access information published before we merged.
What we report
We list contracts with an estimated value of $100,000 or more and which were either:
- not fully performed as at 30 June 2019
- entered into during the 12 months prior to 30 June 2019
- the contract title, contractor, contract value, start date, expected end date, and contract description for each contract
- whether the contracts include confidentiality requirements and if so, why they were included
- the cost of creating each listing and how we worked this out
We publish listings twice a year. One for each calendar year and each financial year.
We list our procurement contracts on AusTender.
We publish our paid grants on GrantConnect. Use the Grant Award Published report for a full list.
