Important notice for customers affected by natural disasters or COVID-19

The department has changed the Finance System email address

On 5 December 2021, the department upgraded its finance system which resulted in invoices, receipts and statements being distributed from a new email address (DoNotReply@finance.awe.gov.au).

What does this mean for you?

If you do not believe you have received any of these documents from the department since 5 December 2021, you may wish to please check your junk and spam email folders to see if any finance correspondence has been diverted there. We also suggest you update your safe sender list to include the new email address: DoNotReply@finance.awe.gov.au

1. Make a payment

You can make a payment using the Department of Agriculture secure online payment service by entering your numerical invoice number when prompted.

Note: you cannot use the secure online payment service to pay by credit card if your invoice number is alpha numeric e.g. ELS012345678901.

2. Check payment status

You can also check your tax invoice payment status by entering your numerical invoice number using the Department of Agriculture secure online payment service.

After submitting your invoice number, one of the following statuses will be displayed:

  • Fully Paid – You have already made a payment and no further action is required
  • Outstanding – There is an outstanding amount that has not been paid
  • Part Paid – A partial payment has been made but there is still an outstanding amount that needs to be paid
  • Processing Payment – You have made a payment but it is yet to be finalised.
