Regional profiles for forestry - data visualisation

This data visualisation allows users to select regions from around Australia to display data and a map of forest extent, forest tenure, forest and plantation types, employment in forestry, and the number of sawmills in the region selected.

Users can hover over the values and the bars in the data visualisation to see more information.

Area data are not to be taken as being more accurate than to the nearest 1,000 hectares.

Data are sourced from: Australia’s State of the Forests Report 2018 and the Australian Bureau of Statistics Census 2016 Industry of Employment dataset.
