The Catchment scale land use profiles are a series of interactive dashboards and a Web Map of land use data assembled using the current Catchment scale land use of Australia – Update December 2020 dataset and the following regions:
- States and territories
- Natural Resource Management regions (2020)
- Local government areas (2020)
- Federal electoral divisions (2019)
The dashboards enable users to select a region and view its land use as a map, table and charts. Hovering over the dashboard elements reveals additional data and filters.
Summary data tables for each of the regions are also available for download on each dashboard page.
The Web Map enables users to explore the catchment scale land use data, which presents multiple layers of land use data including primary and secondary land use classes, agricultural industries, and the date and scale of mapping. The web map also displays states and territories, federal electoral divisions, Natural Resource Management regions and Local government areas.
The land use data presented covers Australia's states and mainland territories and close off-shore islands, but not external territories.
